Harry is Teddy's godfather and he helped very much Andromeda during the Teddy's growth. Is like a real son, the first for Harry and Ginny.
So, when the little daughter -Lily Luna- was born, Teddy felt like the elder brother.
When the Potter kids gone to Hogwarts, Teddy always helped them. Specially Lily Luna, the younger and the only girl.
